Kim Renfrew Interviews Sidse Babett Knudsen
Definitely the best interview with her I’ve read
She says she enjoyed Sherlock (message to Moffat and Gatiss: if you’re reading this, you know who to call) and is fascinated by the class system here, and how it results in programmes like Upstairs, Downstairs, which is exactly the kind of drama she’d like to be involved in. “Anything period, I’d love that. Anything Jane Austen-ish, I’d love that. I’ll play the woman who can’t speak, on a horse, in a beautiful hat. I’d love that!”
I’d give my right arm to see her in a period drama.

More Sidse/Pilou pictures from Alastair Campbell's interview in The Times
The photographer’s blog has several more pictures, and a write-up of the shoot, but as he’s made them un-right-clickable it doesn’t seem right to share them here. But go to his blog and see them because they’re LOVELY. I nearly tripped over in the street trying to look at them on my phone. ENDORSEMENT.
